A lovely piece of superb craftsmanship this handkerchief is loomed of a pure white and delicate "fil de lin" linen. The initials NP are delicately embroidered in one corner and it displays a marvelous ring of miniscule flowers and leaves embroidered with the utmost finesse in high relief. Two very fine rows of drawn thread embroidery frame the hanky and a fancy scallop embroidered with plumetis polka dots finishes the edge. Early 20th c. Perfect condition. Dimensions: 11.5 x 11.5in.
