A very elegant, simple but refined set of three large pure linen dish towels each bearing a small monogram "PG" in red cross stitch. These lovely towels are loomed of a sturdy but deliciously fine ecru "fil de lin" linen and have a simple lateral band marking either end. The linen is supple and quite silken to the touch. Each has a small cotton loop sewn in one corner for hanging. Late 19th - early 20th c. Impeccable unused condition. Dimensions: 34 x 27in.
