A darling little envelope with an allover embroidery in Richelieu and English cutwork to store a pair of elegant gloves, a handkerchief or perhaps, as was the custom, your napkin! Typically at the French table, each family member had his or her personalized napkin pouch which would serve to store one's napkin for mulitiple uses before the laundry was done. This darling little pouch has a delicately embroidered central monogram, MP and is in a new, never used state. The linen still has its ecru color of unbleached linen, and the embroidered flowers and scalloped edge are meticulous and perfect. Dimensions: 10 x 5in.
